I have personally been blocked from their forum several times now for asking simple questions about fatal problems with the product and widgets within the product. By the look of the number of ignored and or unresolved threads on BTT's user forum, I am guessing that the app is not legitimately supported or that its developer staff has been severely downsized. I am having more problems with bettertouchtool every week that goes by. Imho - not worth paying for that touch tool. Unless your software requires having middle click, I'd stick to free alternatives for windows-like stuff, like AltTab for app switching, Rectangle for "aero-snap", CopyLess for clipboard history etc. The best use of middle click in mac is opening new tabs without precision of clicking and opening links in new tabs (which can also be done with Cmd + click). The only thing that would be missing is middle click - also on mac it's not as useful, you can't use it to launch new instances of apps from the dock, like with windows taskbar, and in most other cases it's also not as useful. I don't see a lot of benefit of having gesture to do most of this stuff, which is right there on the keyboard, and paying money for it. Then there is a free app AltTab which gives you exact experience from Windows on your mac, and there are default gestures for app switcher native in mac os.
